At Farsophone, our individual therapy sessions offer a safe and supportive space to explore personal challenges at your own pace. Whether you’re navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, or emotional difficulties, we’re here to help you feel understood, empowered, and supported on your healing journey.
We offer up to 12 weekly sessions, each lasting 50 minutes, delivered by experienced clinicians. Our therapists use a personalised, integrative approach that is drawing from psychodynamic, humanistic, person-centred, existential, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) models, to ensure each session is tailored to your unique needs.
Please note: The current waiting time for individual therapy is approximately 12–14 months. This timeframe is an estimate and may vary.
Who is it for ?
Individual therapy may help if you’re experiencing:
Bereavement or loss
Anxiety, low mood, or depression
Stress or emotional overwhelm
Past or recent trauma
Difficulties in relationships
Low confidence or self-esteem
Life changes or identity-related concerns
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit. Therapy can also be a space for growth, self-reflection, and building emotional resilience.
What to Expect
Your first session will focus on understanding your reasons for seeking support and the goals you’d like to work towards. You can share at your own pace, there is no pressure.
As sessions progress, your therapist will work collaboratively with you, offering tools, insights, and a compassionate space to process emotions, develop clarity, and support your emotional well-being.

Ready to Begin?
You can refer yourself for individual therapy by completing our self-referral form. This allows us to understand your current situation and how we can best support you — no GP or professional referral is needed.
Once submitted, a member of our team will review your form and get in touch to schedule an initial assessment. This session helps us understand your needs more clearly and ensure you’re matched with the most suitable therapist.
